FuturTech Develops Children's Advocacy Center of Delaware Case Management System

In 2010, the Children's Advocacy Center contacted FuturTech Consulting to conduct a system analysis of its technology and to make hardware and software recommendations and improvements, including the design of a new case management system. The Children's Advocacy Center works with child victims, usually of sexual abuse.

The existing system was developed in Access and consisted of three independent databases, one for each of the three counties in Delaware. FuturTech redesigned and developed a new application that consists of one integrated statewide case management system that tracks a case through all proceedings using the latest Microsoft application tools. The system tracks staff schedules, key dates, and time frames so management can measure performance against stated standards. Equally important, the clients required a custom web application that can be accessed through a secured private Intranet by members of their staff from numerous locations. FuturTech Consulting is responsible for implementing the hardware, software, security, networking and development of the custom applications using the latest .Net application tools that tied all three offices together.
